Troubleshooting

Common issues and how to resolve them

My swap failed after I submitted it

If a swap fails after you’ve submitted it on Squid App, here are a couple suggestions for what to do if:

Gas was deducted but your tokens were not sent

First, check your wallet on the source chain. If the tokens are still there, it means the transaction started but failed on the source chain. If this is the case, a small amount may have been spent on gas, but your tokens will still be in your wallet on source chain. Return to the swap page and try again.

Gas was not deducted and tokens not sent

If gas has not been deducted it means the wallet confirmation failed hat the wallet confirmation failed. Meaning, you did not confirm in your wallet after submitting the swap, so the transaction did not get complete approval to start, causing it to fail.

Return to Squid App and try again, this time confirming the transaction in your wallet.

Tokens are not in your wallet on the source chain

If you cannot see the tokens in your wallet on the source chain, check the destination chain, as they may have arrived.

If the tokens are not in your wallet on the source chain or the destination chain, please report the UI error to Squid via the help center.

Still unsure?

If you are still unsure after trying the steps above, or your swap failed due to an unknown error and your tokens do not arrive on the destination chain in the expected timeframe or as axlUSDC, please open a ticket and include the following:

  • Screenshots of the error
  • Axelarscan links that relate to the transaction
